ABOUT MATT COOK
MATT COOK'S first machine.records track. 'I Made This By Mistake', is featured on the machine.music 2 compilation.

Matt graduated from Cardiff School of Art, where he worked primarily with sound and rhythmic structures, in 2002. Since then he has presented work at live art festivals in Helsinki, Nottingham, Glasgow, and China.

An album on machine.records is underway and release is planned for autumn 2005.

REVIEWS FOR
SMALLFISH RECORDS:
'Second compilation from machine.records and it features a fully loaded track list from artists such as STEREO MINUS ONE, SUPERIMPOZER, ANATOMIST, MATT COOK, ORCOP and many more. Edgy, dense electronics with a harsh edge and the kind of rough beats and programming that Schematic used to be famous for. This is more experimental though, to be fair and although there's a fair amount of melody here and there it's generally all about the beats and noises. Well worth checking out if you haven't heard of them before.'
