ABOUT ODDSKOOL
|
ODDSKOOL'S first track on the label, 'Diet Hogan', was featured on 2004's acclaimed machine.music 2. In demo form, this track also won John Peel airplay on Radio 1.
As well as playing live sets at our TERMINAL night, ODDSKOOL (aka Toby Newman) has recently completed a full-length album, Two Ways To Listen, for release in June 2006.
A download single, Monostril, was released on December 5th and found immediate airplay on Adam Walton's Mystery Tour and on Huw Stephens' Radio 1 OneMusic show.

SMALLFISH RECORDS:
'Second compilation from machine.records and it features a fully loaded track list from artists such as STEREO MINUS ONE, SUPERIMPOZER, ANATOMIST, MATT COOK, ORCOP and many more. Edgy, dense electronics with a harsh edge and the kind of rough beats and programming that Schematic used to be famous for. This is more experimental though, to be fair and although there's a fair amount of melody here and there it's generally all about the beats and noises. Well worth checking out if you haven't heard of them before.'
