| ABOUT SUPERIMPOZER |
22-year old SUPERIMPOZER (aka Rowan Porteous) contributed two tracks to 2003's metal.machine music and, in the first six months of 2004, produced the Psy-Ops EP and a debut album, Lines Of Flight.
A brand new SUPERIMPOZER track, 'Catalyst', appeared on the machine.music 2 compilation in September 2004, and a new full-length album is now nearing completion ready for release in late Spring 2005.
2004 also saw Rowan playing regular gigs in Cardiff, London, and Sheffield, as well as gaining airplay on BBC Radio 3's 'Mixing It' show; 2005 has begun with airplay on the British Council funded radio show, The Selector, which is broadcast to 30 million listeners all across the world!

| REVIEWS FOR LINES OF FLIGHT and PSY-OPS EP |
SOUND NATION:
"The debut album from Superimpozer (one Rowan Porteous) differs from the full-length by J.R. and The Instrument Panel, also on Machine, and reviewed on these pages. There are track titles, for a start, and these tracks, while not even in the same country as the mainstream, have recognisable structures. It makes for a fine album of intelligent, scrawling dub-techno and jarring glitch-hop, two separate styles which come together remarkably successfully on 'Lines Of Flight'. Could Superimpozer become 2005's electronica ultrakult? Perhaps."
| BUZZ MAGAZINE:
'More quality budget bass'n' breaks from Cardiff's number one underground electronics imprint. Superimpozer, from London, and Cardiff's Anatomist get six and fivetracks respectively on their split CD, and make good with their edgy ambience, clatterbeat drum damage and homebaked techno. Superimpozer, especially, is a talent worthy of investigation by more labels, and soon.'
SMALLFISH RECORDS
'machine.records are turning out to be a very interesting little label indeed. This SPLIT EP from the two named artists starts off deep, dark, beaty and electronic and soon becomes a more twisted, manipulated sound over the course of the CD. Crispy rhythms and crunchy noises are the order of the day. Anyone into SCHEMATIC etc. should definitely check these releases out.'
