Taking the approach of Rowan’s earlier work to a new level of sophistication, Lines Of Flight is a unique exploration of	angular, dynamic beats, fragmented melodies, and glitchy atmospherics. Rowan’s familiar live trumpet, percussive arrangements, and mashed up electronics are here augmented with guitar and flute performances from Robbie Carlton and Ruth Makoff, all to spectacular effect. Promising to be the first of many Superimpozer album releases, this debut reveals an artist who is already essential listening.

There are track titles, for a start, and these tracks, while not even in the same country as the mainstream, have	recognisable structures. It makes for a fine album of intelligent, scrawling dub-techno and jarring glitch-hop, two separate styles which come together remarkably successfully on 'Lines Of Flight'.
