Unfortunately they seem hell-bent on ignoring our releases/ promos/ emails and phone calls, but I guess no one's perfect...

OTHER LABELS

WARP RECORDS  Still THE essential label, home to AUTECHRE, SQUAREPUSHER, PLAID, BOARDS OF CANADA, CHRIS CLARK and sometimes APHEX TWIN. Respect!

FATCAT RECORDS  Excellent label and site with resources for DIY labels. Has a marked tendency toward the more downtempo and beautiful side of electronica. Artists include Sigur Rós, Múm, and Xinlisupreme.

REPHLEX APHEX TWIN'S record label, home to machine.records' favorite BOGDAN RACZYNSKI, as well as other beat-fucking loonies such as THE BUG, ASTROBOTNIA, CYLOB and the rest! Has retained that certain something that WARP seem to have lost...

AI RECORDS A quality label that's been making waves in the last year particularly but has been releasing solid stuff for the last 5. Home to the wonderful CLARO INTELECTO, FZV, YELLOTONE, and a slew of other interesting artists who fuse crystal production values and a pretty danceable approach with dark, deep weirdness. Highly recommended!

PLANET MU MIKE PARADINAS' (µ-ZIQ) record label is truly home to all sorts of madness, like VENETIAN SNARES, SHITMAT, and REMARC to name a few. Seriously recommended. Booyaka! Booyaka! One for th' Junglists.

AUDIOBULB  Excellent Sheffield-based "exploratory electronic music" label whose recent Switches compilation has got everyone listening. Their new Calika album, out in November, needs your serious attention.

SEED  A London-based label run by the duo Posthuman, producers of glitchy (mostly) uptempo electronic joy since 2000 and famous for putting on the best events - sometimes in underground stations! Nice. Check out Seed Volume One.

MILLE PLATEAUX Also home of FORCE INC. and POSTITION CHROME, MP features Kid 606, Curd Duca and many others. Left of leftfield electronica with slightly preposterous philosophical mumblings but good sounds.-Now very sadly closed down. :(

DIGITAL HARDCORE RECORDINGS  Alec Empire and Atari Teenage Riot label with the hardest, nastiest beats in town. Destroy! But avoid the singing bits.

DOMINO RECORDS  Purveyors fine indie from the likes of Elliott Smith, Smog, Jim O'Rourke, Four Tet, Bonnie 'Prince' Billy, Pram, Papa M, Clinic, etc. Recently lost the plot with Franz Ferdinand, though - when bands on your label start praising Scissors Sisters, it's time to cut the cord! ;-)

FOURIER TRANSFORM  "We work to the brief that music should look as good as it sounds. We supply wholly desirable packages: things you'll be thoroughly proud to own. Things that will make your friends jealous." It's all true!

HIGH QUALITY  "an imaginary record label run by geraint ffrancon, originally from snowdonia in wales and now based in bristol. the label's mission - to inject wonkyness into the universe - has been achieved to great effect in the last couple of years, with artists such as stabmaster vinyl, ap duw, blodyn tatws and ill informed".

SLOW GRAFFITI  Excellent Welsh electronica label and promoter, home to Polanski and 2003's much-praised 'Little Planets in the Wires' compilation. Released the first Kid Carpet EP, too, and now involved with all manner of musical goodness around Cardiff.

KOLORFORM RECORDS  A US based DIY record label releasing quality experimental music.
